Robotics Camp - Day 3

Today brought excitement as we watched our snowmobiles race each other.  Then we proceeded on to our next project which was a mouse trap.  This project introduced the touch sensor.  Campers built a little trap with a swinging catch, used some cheese bait and trapped a mouse.  It was so fun to see the success.  But the trap wouldn't reset until students realized they needed to set the power higher to get power to lift the trap.  Good job campers.

Campers programmed graphics to appear on their NXT when the mouse was caught.

All the traps together catching mice.
Part of the camp is filling out a camp journal.  Adding pictures to the journal completes the day.
