Google Classroom is allowing students to collaborate on projects, which we know is an important trait for the real world.
In 5th/6th Tech Ed, students are building a computer. The first part of the project is to purchase all the parts. To do this, they need to organize their parts and prices in a spreadsheet. With Google Classroom, working with their partner was so easy and fun. Some students decided to sit far away from their partner to simulate being at different locations. They could access the comment feature to talk to each other and edit their spreadsheet together.
Monday morning spreadsheets turned out to be very fun and engaging!!!
