www.typingtest.com

Middle school students are encouraged to go to http://www.typingtest.com/ to practice their keyboarding. They took their first test on Friday and saved a copy in their file. We will continue to test them thoughout the year to compare their scores. Hopefully they will be able to see improvement. Keep practicing at home.

Welcome Students to the 2008-09 School Year

We welcome all our returning students and all the new students to the 2008-09 school year. Our Computer/Ed Tech team are eager to work with your children in furthering their knowledge in the ever-growing field of technology. Our lab has just been updated with 28 brand-new Dell work stations this past summer.
The individual classes are equipped to use our recently acquired lap-tops on a cart. Between this wonderful collection of modern equipment, a devoted staff and your child's desire to learn, we at All Saints plan to excell in educating your children in computer technology.

Middle School Powerpoint

Middle School students worked deligently on their summer novel powerpoint presentations. These presentations had to encorporate "Action Buttons" which was a new concept for the students. Our new mobile Promethean board was an important tool to demonstrate their assignment.

The Good News!

Middle School students learned how to set up a basic newsletter in TechEd classes. After setting up the page properly, they typed articles from the school "Good News" and added their own clipart choices. They all did a wonderful job!

Creativity on the Computer

"Sing a new song to the Lord, who has done marvelous deeds."
Psalm 98:1
A fourth grade student uses her talents on the computer to create this design. Students began the year typing our school theme and expressing their interpretation of it with computer generated artwork.

First Graders Learn About the Computer

After learning about the computer, our First Graders used their skills to show us how well they understood the different parts of a computer.
