Second graders using their keyboarding skills to create messages. It made my day to see these adorable messages to me.
My personal goal as the computer teacher is to provide a learning experience for the students that doesn't just fill their bucket with knowledge, but rather lights their fire to create and develop their technology skills.

Explosion of Computer Parts . . .
Students enjoy looking at all the parts that belong inside the computer. We review the parts together, then try to find the ones we learned about. Here is some of our second graders checking out all the parts.

CHARGED AND READY TO LEARN!!!
Welcome to the 2013-14 school year and Computer/Tech Ed at All Saints.
I'm excited about this new year and my theme "Charging into Technology".
We will need to keep our batteries charged and ready so we can have a great time concentrating on our projects, designs, keyboarding and much more.

Keyboard Challenge Grand Prix
Many students works hard to beat my keyboard challenge - "Race into Technology". Those students who beat my challenge of 25 levels earned the Grand Prix event. First grade student, Dalton H's grandparents own The Pit Stop" and offered to share their model race cars and set up a course. Many of the students had never operated model cars like these and had an enjoyable time. Good job to all my students in working hard to learn how to use the computer keyboard.

Flowers for the Teacher!
It is Teacher Appreciation Week and today students are bringing in flowers for all their teachers. It is amazing how special you feel when all the sweet children you teach bring you a flower. Some of the flowers are from their own gardens. I want to thank all my students for being so wonderful.
